Love a good Mexican dining experience, gigantic plates of food and one of the few places I've been that isn't afraid to put spice in their food. Will for sure be stopping back by to try more dishes sometime. Patti Heisler2025-03-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awkward but tasty sums our visit. Upon entering, we encountered an empty bar and were confused about where to go. Went down a flight of steps where it appeared we were outside the kitchen. After some Spanish exchanges among the staff, we were led to a comfortable booth. We were immediately presented with a basket of warm chips and a small carafe of salsa. Like all Mexican eateries, you must ask for extra napkins. The chips had a great crunch factor and just the right amount of salt. The meals were served hot and portion sizes were outstandingly huge - served on platters the size of two dinner plates. The food was comparable to the Mexican food I've had in Texas. This place has tables for 12 and seems family oriented. If you order extra sour cream, expect to pay an additional $2. Extra charges apply to using a credit card. But you don't pay at the table - they have a cashier. Awkward moments aside, I would return. james lamke2025-03-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Carne asada and I would say it was not only delicious, but was served in a relatively short time with courteous service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I bought too many tacos but they were good Marcie Peeters2025-02-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Happy accident stumbling upon this place today. The quesobirria tacos are beyond words! We can’t stop raving about them. We loved the food and atmosphere, the service was very welcoming in letting us take our time to lounge and chat during our dining experience. Sam Pierce2025-01-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is VERY poorly managed. The staff has days where they’re exactly how a server should be, and other days you want to walk out before you even sit down. I eat here pretty regularly, and it’s probably 65% of the time the service is decent, 30% its total crap, and 5% where they actually do an excellent job. The restaurant just has a very overwhelming feeling like they are losing money every day, and just feels gloomy and sad a lot of the time. Even in summer on a warm July Friday night at 6:00 PM id expect the place to be half full, but I have never once seen more than 10 other people in the whole place. So as a result of it being slow, the staff is either FaceTiming their family back home, or watching ticktoks, or just talking with another group of staff. So it gets to be pretty difficult to try to get a refill, and I have always been sat at the same table over a dozen times. The food is excellent though, and for the price which is a little higher than it should be, you’re always going to have leftovers to take home. I just really wish the place was managed better, and the staff was trained a little more. I was always take if you got time to lean, you got time to clean. Often times there are tables that still have dirty dishes on them and the staff is still sitting around on their phones.
